Mayee Warren – Chairman
Mayee has over 25 years of extensive international management experience in global corporate and public institutions.
From 2002 until December 2013, she successfully held senior management posts in United Nations backed international criminal courts and tribunals in The Netherlands, Sierra Leone, Tanzania and Rwanda with brief assignments in Bosnia-Herzegovina and Cambodia – most recently holding the title of Chef de Cabinet (Chief of Staff) at the International Criminal Court located in The Hague, Netherlands.
Between 1987 and 2002, Mayee sustained a successful Australian-based career highlighted by pioneering achievements in the cross over field of management, law and technology. She introduced innovations in corporate legal practice in top tier global firms; advised on courts modernisation projects around the world with major technology companies; and participated in the successful leveraged buy-out of an Australian government business enterprise that enabled the continued integration of technology in all federal courts and tribunals. She led the development and management of the first computer-assisted trials in Australia as well as conceptualising and operating electronic courtrooms for private corporate dispute resolution.
Mayee continues to vigorously engage in Philippine life through her position as Chairwoman and founding investor of Makati Capital Partners where she provides oversight across all corporate strategy and firm decisions. Her other activities involve academic contributions and philanthropic work through her role as International Programme Coordinator for The Women of Ateneo – an alumni group engaged in philanthropic activities focussed on the education of disadvantaged women and community rehabilitation.
In 1977, Mayee graduated with the first-ever group of 124 women admitted into the Ateneo de Manila, the 155 year old prestigious Jesuit university. She is currently writing her dissertation for a Masters degree in International Business with the University of Liverpool. She is an Adviser to the Sierra Leone Legal Information Institute and the African Legal Information Institute.
Conrad Warren – Managing Director
Conrad has over 12 years investment banking experience advising both local and international companies across a wide variety of sectors. During his career Conrad has worked on a broad range of mergers and acquisitions, capital raisings, restructurings and strategic reviews.
At the age of 28, Conrad worked in partnership with his Principal and Managing Director to structure and execute the management buy out (MBO) of Ferrier Hodgson’s Indonesian office. He has since acquired the restructured organisation’s Singaporean and Indonesian assets and now acts as Managing Director as well as retaining the majority shareholding.
Conrad graduated from his undergraduate program with a Bachelor of Finance in 2003 and subsequently attained his Master of Applied Economics in 2005.
Bastian Sagild – Director
Prior to joining Makati Capital Partners, Bastian worked for a strategic and corporate financial advisory firm focused on the Southeast Asian energy sector. He has advised clients on target identification, financing and acquisition strategies.
In addition, Bastian has assisted with the development of the firm’s incubated new oil and coal supply chain venture where he was made responsible for deal origination, valuation and corporate due diligence.
Bastian’s key areas of focus are: financial modeling, valuation, strategic direction and corporate financial advisory; business plan and concept development; macro and microeconomic analysis; market research and corporate due diligence.
Bastian has received a B.S. in BA (Economics) from Babson College, Massachusetts.
